Three weeks ago, former President Trump sounded the alarm about a nuclear war looming in a post to his social media site, Truth Social.
In January, Resident-in-Chief Joe Biden announced that Ukraine will receive 31 advanced M1 Abrams tanks worth $400 million from the U.S. in the coming months. Ultimately, a diplomatic stalemate with Germany was resolved over the most effective way to assist Kyiv in its Russia conflict.
As a result of the announcement, Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov issued the following statement: “There are constant statements from European capitals and Washington that the sending of various weapons systems to Ukraine, including tanks, in no way signifies the involvement of these countries or the alliance in hostilities in Ukraine.”
“We categorically disagree with this, and in Moscow, everything that the alliance and the capitals I mentioned are doing is seen as direct involvement in the conflict. We see that this is growing,” he said in a press conference on Thursday.
Now we’re getting close to finding out who will get the Republican nomination to wage war against Biden and the Democrat-socialist machine in 2024.
According to the DC Enquirer, “Trump won yet another recent Republican primary poll, but this time in South Carolina, crushing all primary opponents by over 35 points, according to a recent Neighborhood Research and Media poll released on Wednesday.”
Trump came in first place with 35.1 percent, Gov. Ron DeSantis came in second place, over 13 points behind Trump, with 21.8 percent, and former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley came in third place with a minor 16.4 percent.
Trump beat Biden with 46 percent, while Biden received 41 percent. 13 percent said they were unsure about who they’d vote for, according to a nationwide poll between Trump and President Joe Biden conducted by Harvard-Harris 2024.
According to a recent Washington Post-ABC News poll, the majority of Republicans want Trump to be the Republican nominee, while only 36 percent of Democrats want Biden to be the Democrat nominee.
With controversy after controversy engulfing Biden’s presidency, even 62 percent of Democrats oppose him being the Democratic nominee.
An Emerson College poll found that Trump has a 30-point lead over his nearest opponent, with 55 percent support. The second-place finisher was DeSantis with 25 percent.
In the polls for 2024, Trump is still leading among potential Republican challengers, so any challenger attempting to usurp Trump will have an uphill battle. Polls indicate that he is the favorite to beat Biden in the 2024 election.
“We need a fighter who can stand up to the left, stand up to the swamp, stand up to the media, stand up to the deep state. Am I allowed to say stand up to the RINOs, too?” announced Trump on the campaign trail.

Since Trump announced his candidacy for the Oval Office in November, speculation as to what other Republicans will fling their hat in the ring has been flying about. Ron DeSantis, Nikki Haley, and Tim Scott are top names, and many others have been mentioned in connection with a running mate for Trump.
One of those mentioned has now thrown her hat in the ring and the race is on. Nikki Haley officially announced through video on Tuesday morning that she is running for the Republican nomination for President in 2024. Haley is the former governor of South Carolina and served under President Trump as the United Ambassador to the United Nations. Haley was the first Indian American member of a presidential cabinet, serving as U.S. Ambassador to the U.N. for nearly two years. “Get excited! Time for a new generation,’ Haley says in her first campaign video posted to Twitter. I’m Nikki Haley, and I’m running for president.”
Having previously announced that she had a big announcement, Haley will hold her first official campaign event in Charleston on Wednesday and enters the race as an underdog – with Trump and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis leading in Republican polls. By announcing her candidacy so early, Haley could have a crack at building support early in some states key to clinching a nomination, like Iowa, New Hampshire, and her home state of South Carolina – all early primary contest states, Daily Mail reported. Haley could even see challenges from within her own state as South Carolina Senator Tim Scott, who is the only black Republican in the upper chamber, considers a bid of his own.
Haley, the daughter of Indian immigrants, is married to William Michael Haley who is a commissioned officer in the South Carolina Army National Guard. The two share a daughter, Rena, who is soon to be married, and a son Nalin. Haley grew up in the small Lowcountry town of Bamberg, South Carolina, and became the first woman and person of Asian heritage to serve as governor of the state.
The former South Carolina governor, 51, discusses growing up in a racially-segregated town in the video and says: “I was the proud daughter of Indian immigrants — not black, not white. I was different.” Haley would be the first American of Asian descent on the GOP ticket for the Presidency.
She denounced the idea that America is inherently ‘wrong’ or ‘racist’ because of its history. “Some look at our past as evidence that America’s founding principles are bad,” Haley noted. “They say the promise of freedom is just made up. Some think our ideas are not just wrong, but racist and evil. Nothing could be further from the truth. Even on our worst day, we are blessed to live in America,” she added.

At a recent press conference on tort reform, the highly popular GOP governor was asked by a reporter specifically, whether he will be the next to declare, as Jon Doughtery reported for Conservative Brief, adding links to the comments:
