During the holiday weekend of Memorial Day, former President Donald J. Trump arrived in New York City, where he was met with enthusiastic applause from his supporters.
In an act of solidarity with his followers, who are standing by him while he faces legal troubles in the city where he formerly resided, the 45th President of the United States raised a fist in the air.
It has been reported that Donald Trump will relocate his headquarters from Mar-a-Lago to Bedminster, New Jersey just as the campaign season for the presidential election in 2024 begins to pick up steam.
On the occasion of Memorial Day, the 45th president of the United States, Donald Trump, turned to the platform of his company Truth Social to offer an impassioned and contentious statement.
In his attention-grabbing, all-caps outburst on Monday morning, the 76-year-old former president exhorted Americans to battle against the “terrorists, misfits, and lunatic thugs” who, according to him, were attempting to destroy the nation. He added that these people were trying to destroy the nation.
“BUT ESPECIALLY TO THOSE WHO GAVE THE ULTIMATE SACRIFICE FOR THE COUNTRY THEY LOVE, AND TO THOSE IN LINE OF A VERY DIFFERENT, BUT EQUALLY DANGEROUS FIRE, STOPPING THE THREATS OF THE TERRORISTS, MISFITS AND LUNATIC THUGS WHO ARE WORKING FEVERISHLY FROM WITHIN TO OVERTURN AND DESTROY OUR ONCE GREAT COUNTRY, WHICH HAS NEVER BEEN IN GREATER PERIL THAN IT IS RIGHT NOW,” he wrote in caps.
“WE MUST STOP THE COMMUNISTS, MARXISTS AND FASCIST ‘PIGS’ AT EVERY TURN AND, MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!” he declared.
Judge Juan Merchen issued a severe warning to former President Donald Trump during a remote hearing before a courthouse in New York City on Tuesday over the sharing of information relevant to Trump’s 34-count criminal indictment. Trump appeared before the court by video conference. The date of the trial was set for March 25, 2024, which coincided with the primary elections for the Republican Party’s presidential nomination. During the hearing, Judge Merchen told Trump not to reveal any of the evidence that had been obtained by his legal team during the discovery phase of the case.
Trump appeared on camera wearing a blue suit and crossing his arms while speaking from his home at Mar-a-Lago, which is located in Florida. He uttered a few words, but only to clarify that he had received the protective order, to which he replied, “Yes, I do.”
Without receiving prior authorization from the court, the order issued by Judge Merchen expressly forbids Trump from publicly releasing information on a variety of social media platforms. These platforms include, but are not limited to, Truth Social, Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, Twitter, Snapchat, or YouTube.
The injunction prohibits President Trump from providing his legal team with any documents or evidence that have been handed to him by the Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg, unless such documents or evidence have already been made public. The legal team representing Donald Trump stated their opposition to the protective order in a filing that was submitted on May 1. They argued that the order would place an unprecedented and unduly wide limitation on a leading presidential candidate.
