SCOTUS Justice Alito Drops Major Announcement After Leak Allegation Investigation

The left is after revenge against Conservative US Supreme Court Justice Justice Samuel Alito, as expected, for his role in overturning Roe V. Wade in 2022.

A man claiming to be a former pastor and a former pro-life activist- who is now with a left-leaning group called “Demand Justice”- desperately shopped out a story to the leftist media in a clear attempt to discredit the Conservative justices by first discrediting Alito.

The leftist media stories ignited, giving cover to unverified smears, have been embraced by the Democrat-led Senate, and they are now pushing for an inquiry into Alito for ‘leaking’ in 2014, all while conveniently ignoring the leak of 2022.

Alito’s 2022 draft of the overturning of Roe V. Wade was the center of a massive scandal recently when Politico leaked the information to activists- who began to protest immediately in a clear attempt to politically influence the process.

So that is the exact thing that the left is projecting and accusing the right of doing- back in 2014.

SO here is what the left is focused on now:

The turncoat ‘pro-life’ activist, Rob Schenck, wrote recently to discredit Alito’s character that he remembered “that another highly controversial Alito opinion had leaked before—and that it came directly from the Justice himself. (Never mind how I know that—but I do know it firsthand)” adding, “So, it occurred to me a leak is not as rare as people think.”

The New York Times picked up the flimsy story by Schenck and his group Demand Justice, which accuses  Alito and his wife of wrongdoing and leaking SCOTUS rulings to activists back in 2014. Community organizers are especially focused on stinging Alito in one case at the time that involved Hobby Lobby, which was before the court then.

Schenck says he received word of the ruling through a couple, the Wrights, who were socializing with the Alito couple.

Schenck claims he was told about the outcome of the Hobby Lobby case then by Gayle Wright, the wife of a wealthy real estate developer and founder of a successful furniture business, Don Wright.

Schenck alleges that the Wrights were a part of the group of activists called ‘Higher Order’ designed to lobby and influence SCOTUS.

The Wrights have denied Schenck’s allegations as well.

Nonetheless, Politico reported on the New York Times story, and included the following statement by Alito denying Schenck’s allegations about the Wrights lobbying him at social events:

“The allegation that the Wrights were told the outcome of the decision in the Hobby Lobby case, or the authorship of the opinion of the Court, by me or my wife is completely false,” Alito said.

“My wife and I became acquainted with the Wrights some years ago because of their strong support for the Supreme Court Historical Society, and since then, we have had a casual and purely social relationship. I never detected any effort on the part of the Wrights to obtain confidential information or to influence anything that I did in either an official or private capacity, and I would have strongly objected if they had done so. I have no knowledge of any project that they allegedly undertook for ‘Faith and Action,’ ‘Faith and Liberty,’ or any similar group, and I would be shocked and offended if those allegations are true.”

Here is the story the New York Times and Politico want people to think is true.

“An Ohio woman friendly with the Alitos couple who was a donor to a Supreme Court-connected nonprofit group and allegedly served as a conduit for the sensitive information has also denied the claim.”

Politico reported on more details- also adding interesting details about their own previous leak of the 2022 Roe V. Wade decision that set off violent protests ahead of a highly volatile ruling:

“The allegation against Alito comes six months after a stunning breach of Supreme Court secrecy — POLITICO’s publication of the draft ruling authored by Alito that overturned the landmark, 49-year-old precedent guaranteeing a federal constitutional right to abortion.”

The very pro-abortion Guardian jumped in and reported:

“A civil rights group issued a call Saturday for US supreme court justice Samuel Alito to be investigated over allegations that the judge leaked a 2014 landmark ruling involving contraception and religious rights at a private dinner with wealthy political donors.

Schenck also claimed he tipped off Hobby Lobby, the craft store chain owned by Christian evangelicals that brought and won the case allowing privately-held, for-profit businesses to be exempt from regulations to which its owners religiously object, in this case requiring employers to cover certain contraceptives for their female employees.

“The Senate judiciary committee should immediately move to investigate the apparent leak by Justice Alito,” said Brian Fallon, the executive director of Demand Justice.

“This bombshell report is the latest proof that the Republican justices on the court are little more than politicians in robes. It’s no wonder trust in the court has hit a record low. Structural reform of the court, including strict new ethics rules, is needed now more than ever.”

Fallon added that Schenck “should be called to testify about both the leak and the years-long lobbying effort he once led to cultivate Alito and other Republican justices”.

But what we know- is that the left is actually DOING what they are accusing the right of doing.
