The repeated investigations into former President Donald Trump’s activities are backfiring on Democratic leaders, as special Council John Durham’s report is shaking up not only Democrats but inspiring Republicans to call out the attacks on the former president that are becoming more and more obviously politically motivated.

The report from United States Special Counsel John Durham last week revealed massive workings behind the investigation into then-presidential candidate Donald Trump and his possible ties to Russia, per the DC Enquirer. The immense 300-page report concluded that there was no “actual evidence of collusion,” calling the entire investigation into the former-president unjust.
The report also began to fuel concerns and questions into the Clintons’ role in the investigation, with the Clintons, current President Joe Biden and former President Barack Obama all being aware of the investigation and the corruption behind it, per the DC Enquirer. Hillary Clinton specifically pushed the narrative throughout the 2016 presidential election, using the accusations to smear Trump and his campaign.
Many lawmakers have been calling for investigations into the parties involved in the witch hunt against former President Trump.
On Sunday, Representative Jim Jordan (R-OH) sat down for an interview with Fox News when host Maria Bartiromo asked whether he would like to see another investigation into the Clintons, noting how the government “made no effort to investigate the claims that Hillary Clinton was taking money from foreigners for her Clinton Global Initiative and the Clinton Foundation,” DC Enquirer reports.
Jordan teased the possibility of a new investigation into Hillary and Bill Clinton following the bombshell Durham report, stating, “Nothing is off the table.”

“They not only didn’t investigate her like they did President Trump, they gave her campaign a defensive briefing. They should’ve done the same for President Trump because they had no evidence,” the Ohio representative stated.
“So we’re gonna talk with our lawyers, we’re gonna talk with speaker McCarthy on where we proceed from here. In fact, other people that were highlighted in the Durham investigation and the Durham report, that we need to talk to on the judiciary committee, we’re gonna give that a good hard look.”
Jordan finished his response by saying, “But nothing is off the table because it is critical the American people understand how their government, their agencies, have been turned on them the taxpayers.”
Dcenquirer notes, “It’s clear there was immense corruption, just not where the FBI and the Justice Department were so intent on looking. An investigation into the Clintons may still produce nothing of note, as they do all they can to cover their bases, but it can serve as a warning against those who attempt to disrupt justice and American democracy.”
On Monday prominent GOP figures referred to Trump as a “crime victim” and urged him to sue the Department of Justice and the FBI for “violating the Constitutional protections” of the former president, now seeking a return to the White House, Newsweek reports.
In a series of at least 10 tweets, GOP Senator Lindsay Graham of South Carolina criticized the DOJ and FBI, saying “Their behavior during the Crossfire Hurricane investigation reads like a page out of the [former President Richard] Nixon playbook.”
“Sadly, this report – that shines a bright light on problems at the FBI and DOJ – reinforces the narrative that the Rule of Law in America is subservient to political outcomes,” the senator stated. “It is a very dangerous development and moment in American history.”
Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia joined the comments, stating joyfully that the truth is finally out. “The truth is finally coming out on the Russian collusion hoax! The FBI and DOJ has been weaponized against conservatives for years.”
Arizona Republican Kari Lake, still fighting her lost election in the courts, tweeted, “Now what? Our government is corrupt. It’s working against us. It’s weaponized. Our elections are a joke. Our country is falling apart because of it. When can We the People get some justice?”
Trump himself has answered the reports with posts on social media:
“WOW! After extensive research, special Council John Durham concludes the FBI never should have launched the Trump-Russia Probe. In other words, the AMerican Public was scammed, just as it is being scammed right now by those who don’t want to see GREATNESS for AMERICA!”
The Republican National Committee’s response on social media was to the point, “Outrageous,” the committee tweeted.
As all process the report, and call for others to be charged, Trump gives perspective with a recent tweet:
“The FBI offered Christopher Steele One Million Dollars in order to FRAME me. Why aren’t all of the so called Special “Prosecutors” together with their bosses at the DOJ, doing something about this? Why aren’t people under arrest. They spied on my campaign, and bribed people all over the place. and they go after ME! The people of our once great country won’t stand for it.”
