Trump announced his re-election bid on Tuesday night in a highly anticipated “big announcement.” He announced that he would be running for president in 2024 from his Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida.

“America’s comeback starts right now,” Trump told a crowd of supporters. “Unlike other presidents, I kept my promises.”

Trump proclaimed: “I am tonight again announcing my candidacy for President of the United States.”

It has been reported that former First Lady Melania Trump is supporting the re-election bid of her husband.

According to her remarks to Breitbart News, former President Donald Trump will restore prosperity and success to the nation.

“I support my husband’s decision to run for president of this wonderful nation. His achievements during his administration had a great effect on all of us, and he can lead us toward success and prosperity again. I await the day when my husband returns to lead an America that is characterized by peace, love, and security,” Melania Trump declared.

During his speech announcing his third run, Trump proudly stated, “The world was at peace, America was prospering, and our country was on track for an amazing future— because I made big promises to the American People and, unlike other Presidents, I kept my promises. Under our leadership, we were a great and glorious nation, something you haven’t heard for quite a long period of time. We were a strong nation, and importantly we were a free nation. Now, we are a nation in decline. We are a failing nation.”

In response to her father’s announcement to run again for president on Tuesday, Ivanka Trump spoke out as well.

Several of Ivanka’s siblings were in attendance at the event, but she was not. She issued a statement afterward explaining her absence. The New York Post reported that Trump “spent part of daughter Tiffany’s lavish Mar-a-Lago wedding this past weekend trying to convince his much-loved elder daughter, Ivanka, and son-in-law Jared Kushner to be with him on stage” when he announced his candidacy.

“I love my father very much,” Ivanka explained. “This time around, I am choosing to prioritize my young children and the private life we are creating as a family. I do not plan to be involved in politics.”

“While I will always love and support my father, going forward I will do so outside the political arena,” a Daily Wire report states. “I am grateful to have had the honor of serving the American people and I will always be proud of many of our Administration’s accomplishments.”

During a Fox News interview, she told the network that she is dear to her father and that he “hasn’t changed and will never change.”

“I’ve had many roles over the years but that of a daughter is one of the most elemental and consequential,” she explained. “I am loving this time with my kids, loving life in Miami, and the freedom and privacy of having returned to the private sector. This has been one of the greatest times of my life.”

In discussing her three children — Arabella, 11, Joseph, 9, and Theodore, 6 — she observed that they were at “critical ages” during which she would like to cherish “these moments with them.”

“We’re happy where we are right now, and we will continue to support my father — as his kids,” Ivanka concluded.

A hunting trip kept Donald Trump Jr. from attending. As a result of her wedding over the weekend, Tiffany Trump was also not able to attend. Jared Kushner, Ivanka’s husband, was present at the announcement at Mar-a-Lago.

During Trump’s announcement, he remarked on several subjects, such as nuclear deterrents and going to Mars.

‘We will expand the frontiers of human knowledge and will extend the horizons of human achievement,’ Trump promised. ‘And we will plant our beautiful American flag very soon on the surface of Mars,’ Trump declared on Tuesday.

His speech also had a sci-fi edge as he said that the United States needed shields.

‘To protect our people from the unthinkable threat of nuclear weapons and hypersonic missiles, the United States must also build a state-of-the art next generation missile defense shield – we need it,’ he said. ‘The power of these missiles, and the power of a word I refuse to say – nuclear – we have to have it.’

“We will be resisted and attacked, but in the end, WE WILL WIN!” Trump told the jubilant crowd. “I believe republicans will overwhelmingly reject the left’s platform of national ruin.”

Former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee responded to Trump speech.

“I think he’s going to be unbeatable if he stays in this message,” Huckabee told Newsmax.

“I thought it was a pitch perfect speech.”

A few days before Trump’s announcement, speculation was rife that he was going to announce his vice presidential running mate “very soon.”

“I will let you know very soon,” Trump recently told reporters when asked who he would pick as his running mate.
