Firebrand, Majorie Taylor Greene, US Representative from Georgia, is the focus of some sad news as her husband filed for divorce this week, and the left is ignoring her request for privacy about the details.

While both Greenes released statements about their divorce and each other that were somewhat friendly, the leftist media, Marxist street activists, and community organizers who hound her mocked her, and made fun of the situation, showing their lack of humanity toward her- once again.

“Marjorie Taylor Greene’s husband of 27 years files for divorce, says marriage is ‘irretrievably broken’ Floyd County Superior Court documents showed Rep. Greene’s husband filed for divorce Wednesday morning after 27 years of marriage,” Fox News reported, adding:

“The husband of Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., filed for divorce Wednesday morning in a Georgia court.

In court documents obtained by FOX 5 Atlanta, Perry Greene reportedly stated his 27-year-long marriage with Rep. Greene is “irretrievably broken.” The couple married in August 1995 and shared three adult children together.

The filing in the Floyd County Superior Court showed the couple had previously been separated and continue to be separated.

It also stated that “additional grounds” may be added as needed.

A petition was also filed to seal the proceeding, citing “confidential and sensitive information,” FOX 5 reported. The petition argues that “the parties’ significant privacy interest in sealing the records outweighs the public’s minuscule interest in access to said records.”

A hearing date on that motion has not yet been set. Business Insider reported that Perry Greene had asked that the divorce be filed under seal, as “the record will contain sensitive personal and financial information, the public disclosure of which would negatively impact the parties’ privacy interests.”

The court filings say that Rep. Greene accepted the divorce petition on Wednesday.

Rep. Greene released the following statement to Fox News Digital Wednesday night:

“Marriage is a wonderful thing and I’m a firm believer in it. Our society is formed by a husband and wife creating a family to nurture and protect. Together, Perry and I formed our family and raised three great kids. He gave me the best job title you can ever earn: Mom. I’ll always be grateful for how great of a dad he is to our children. This is a private and personal matter and I ask that the media respect our privacy at this time.”

The congresswoman’s team also released a statement on behalf of her estranged husband:

“Marjorie has been my best friend for the last 29 years and she has been an amazing mom! Our family is our most important thing we have done. As we go on different paths we will continue to focus on our 3 incredible kids and their future endeavors and our friendship.”

Greene, who represents Georgia’s 14th Congressional District, is up for re-election this November, and no doubt the divorce will be used to against her.

Greene has been the intense focus of the left and the Democrat-RINO movement due to her very vocal support of the America First agenda and of President Donald J. Trump.

Speculation about what happened to their marriage is of course, going to be used against by her political opponents, and no doubt the constant attacks on her and her family were a part of the breakdown.

Green was the victim of three ‘swatting events’ where the FBI was called to her home over fake gun charges, and the Congresswoman reports that she is constantly harassed by colleagues on the Hill who target her office space and openly mock her work trying to get into fights with her.

Greene was removed from her committees shortly after being sworn in and then targeted by US House Speaker Nancy Pelosi over mask usage and then fined for not submitting to demands to wear face coverings.

And frequently, street activists target her and openly fight with her while videotaping the exchanges.

Green has definitely had a difficult last two years while also rising to the national interest for her strong and determined advocacy of Conservatives and Trump’s MAGA movement.

“Unfortunately for the liberals who likely hoped to see some messy dirt spilling, both parties appear to be handling it maturely and respectfully,” Cassandra Fairbanks reported for The Gateway Pundit.

Press Release
Washington D.C. — Today, Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene filed H. Res. 1318, articles of impeachment against Attorney General Merrick Garland for his weaponization of the Department of Justice against Joe Biden’s chief political opponent, President Donald J. Trump.

Congresswoman Greene released the following statement:

“Merrick Garland has weaponized the DOJ and unleashed the FBI to target, harass, and persecute Joe Biden’s political enemies.

The unprecedented raid on President Trump’s home is the type of tyrannical action that happens just before a country falls into a violent dictatorship.

Our justice system should never be used to intimidate political opposition simply because the party in power is afraid to lose that power. In this case, abusing the DOJ to prevent President Trump from heading back to the White House.

The Attorney General’s actions are a disgrace and a stain on our great nation. Merrick Garland should be impeached, convicted, and removed from office.”

Currently, Representatives Andy Harris, Clay Higgins, and Mary Miller are cosponsors.
