David Carlucci, once a Democratic state senator from New York, came under blistering fire from Fox News’ Julie Banderas on Tuesday when he attempted to defend Kamala Harris for her performance.
In a recent NBC News poll, 49% of voters said they had a bad opinion of Harris, whereas only 42% of respondents to a CNN poll said they approved of her work as vice president. 1,279 randomly selected adults were contacted by mail between July 1 and July 31 to participate in the survey. There is a 3.7% error margin.
Before Matt Mowers, president of Valcour, a public strategy company, stated that Harris has failed to control the southern border, which has resulted in a rising drug and migrant issue, Banderas asserted that Harris has a record of duties inside the administration that she hasn’t carried out and then went on to pointing out her confusing statements during speeches which make people think she’s on drugs.
According to Carlucci, statistics show that female politicians face greater internet “attacks” and “harassment” than their male colleagues. He claimed that Harris has been subjected to “relentless bashing,” which has weakened public opinion.
“She hasn’t solved all of the world’s problems, but she’s doing the job she was elected to do, and that’s serve as Vice President,” Carlucci hilariously argued.
“Is she?” Banderas snapped back.
“Two of the things that you just said could be true, yes, it is true possibly that she is being targeted because she’s a woman but the bottom line is–”
“At unprecedented levels,” Carlucci said.
“She’s just unlikeable, that is the bottom line,” responded Banderas.
“I think it adds to it, the clips we just saw have nothing to do with policy, they have gaffes of language, that happens to all of us–”
“Which goes to likability and trust. If an elected politician cannot actually properly communicate to the American people, it does get confusing and that does come across as someone who is not qualified,” Banderas explained.
Carlucci stated that the sequence of video clips only included a minor look at Harris before Banderas shut down the liberal hack.
“Okay, I get it, you talk about how she’s done a great job as the Vice President, we just listed a bunch of her jobs, one of them was border czar. She was supposed to head to the border to get to the root cause of immigration, she’s never done a thing about it.”
Harris has broken tie votes in the Senate, according to Carlucci, who later added that she has accomplished a lot of good things without providing evidence of what she’s accomplished.
Banderas remarked that Harris “hasn’t fixed any of the problems she’s been assigned.”

In July, “Former Fox News host, Megyn Kelly, who is now a SiriusXM podcaster, mocked Kamala Harris on her show, the day before the vice president attended an event where she tried to explain the idea of artificial intelligence.”
On her show, Kelly criticized the VP for her ongoing “word salad” explanations of numerous subjects – wordy dissertations that seemed to be intended to cover up her ignorance.
“Her and [White House press secretary] Karine Jean-Pierre are cut from the same cloth — actually saying absolutely nothing with tons of words toward that end. It is a skill it shouldn’t be underestimated … it’s an embarrassment,” Kelly, 52, said.
“So we’ll laugh at this because it’s obvious drivel. But the left-wing press – they don’t like her. Even the Democrats don’t like her. But remember what they did to [former GOP Vice President] Dan Quayle? She’s not getting that treatment by the press …. Give it like another six months, and you’ll get the hit piece on why we’re all sexist and misogynist and racist for having any fun at her expense whatsoever,” Kelly added.
She continued by acknowledging that she initially gave Harris “the benefit of the doubt.” But things have changed now.
“I did not think she was an idiot. I now think she’s a moron. She’s not that smart. Forgive me, I’m still one of those people who gets wooed by titles like, ‘She was the attorney general in state of California.’ You know, how dumb could she be? Like, dumb. The answer is very, very dumb,” Kelly declared.
“And I come to that conclusion just with my own eyes and ears from watching and listening to her. She cannot put two sentences together,” the host added.
“She’s just not a smart person, and it concerns me because that’s all we have in line at the Democratic side. And as [Donald] Trump’s numbers continue to go up and up and up – and I realize some of the polls are showing him beating Joe Biden now in a hypothetical matchup – he’s still very vulnerable,” she explained.
“He did not win in 2020, and it looks like it’s gonna be the same matchup, and honestly, Joe Biden’s knocking on the Grim Reaper’s door, and she could be the president of the United States in the next six years by default if things go in a dark and upsetting way. I’m concerned,” Kelly added.
