The same three phrases are appearing on numerous billboards around the nation with a direct message that’s sure to cause a ruckus among a percentage of people in the country.
The unpopular comment may infuriate Democrats, leftists, and secular atheists in equal measure, especially in the midst of such evil that’s running rampant right now and destroying America from within.
At a time when hope seems all but lost and there’s an incredible amount of uncertainty about what the future holds with an unstable government at the helm, these billboards serve as a reminder that it’s Jesus Christ Himself who is in control as the ultimate, universal authority.
Simply but deeply profound, the signs say “Christ Is Lord.”
Christian publisher Canon Press purchased and paid for the advertisements as part of a presale promotion for well-known Moscow, Idaho, preacher Douglas Wilson’s new book, “Mere Christendom.”
Moscow, Idaho; Spokane, Washington; New York; Porto Alegre, Brazil; Nashville, Tennessee; Taylor, Texas; Minneapolis, Minnesota; Greenville, South Carolina; and Houston, Texas are just a few of the cities where the advertisements have already appeared or will soon do so.
Cannon promises to pay for and provide “Christ is Lord” billboards in any zip code where 20 boxes of a deluxe edition of the book (which comes with additional items) are ordered, according to the official “Mere Christendom” website, christislord.com.
“When a foreign army has surrounded their enemy, they paper the town to announce their victory and call for total surrender,” the website reads.
“This is our campaign for Mere Christendom. We’re not campaigning for the election of Jesus, he’s already on the throne. We want to help you notify your town and local leaders.”

Wilson makes the case in the book that the world’s governments should give up secularism in favor of openly Christian leadership in politics.
The “Mere Christendom” official trailer emphasizes Wilson’s unrelenting Biblical rhetoric and no-holds-barred strategy for confronting progressive detractors.
Clown World is not the only option.
Christ conquered the West once — and He can do it again.

“I am offering this book to evangelical Christians, and evangelical Christians are quite accustomed to the basic thesis of this book, which is that ‘Jesus is the answer,’” Wilson wrote, according to the book’s official website.
“Jesus is the answer to every ultimate question that can be framed by man about himself, Who am I? But we must remember that cultures and nations need Christ also. Christ is Lord over POTUS, your Twitter, the IRS, local libraries, Tucker Carlson, whether you (or they) like it.”
“We all–America, the Crown, the Prime Minister of Japan–must abandon the disastrous experiment of Secularism. We must instead confess that Christ is Lord: He rose from the dead and ascended into Heaven and reigns over our nation and theirs.”
