Why don’t we hear of the FBI putting as much effort into the people behind the BLM/Antifa riots as they do the J6 participants?
A new arrest took place Tuesday in connection with the January 6, 2021 Capitol disturbance, according to documents released by the Department of Justice. The arrest occurred much of the media has been focused on the prospect that former President Donald Trump could be charged for his acts prior to January 6.
On Thursday morning, Trump himself addressed the latest charges brought against him. The former president is in DC today to be arraigned on the politically motivated charges.

Republican Nominee & former President of the United States, me, with as many crimes as can be concocted so that he is forced to spend large amounts of time & money to defend himself. The Dems don’t want to run against me or they would not be doing this unprecedented weaponization of “Justice.” BUT SOON, IN 2024, IT WILL BE OUR TURN. MAGA!” Trump post on Truth Social.
A Kentucky man was detained on Tuesday on suspicion of participating in one of the Lower West Terrace tunnel’s most hardcore standoffs with law enforcement by joining the crowd of Trump supporters.
According to prosecution records, Barry Saturday is believed to have been present when rioters attacked police officers guarding the Capitol and allegedly rejoiced after witnessing one rioter take a police shield.
Based on the affidavit, investigators followed Saturday’s movements throughout the altercation with police, notably his push toward the police line whilst rioters shouted “Heave-ho!” in an attempt to break through and access the building.
After getting pepper sprayed and then retreating out of the tunnel, he was observed “deliberately following” two lone police who had been dragged into the crowd eventually returning to the crowd at the tunnel entrance, according to court records.
According to FBI authorities, they matched Saturday’s images with his Twitter account and a picture of him on the Lexington Herald Leader news website using a face comparison program. According to investigators, they then discovered that Saturday had really been interrogated by the FBI three times in 2018 and 2019 while he was claiming to have been a victim of some sort of computer hacking. The affidavit stated that while agents who spoke with him during both appearances confirmed that he was the person shown in images from the riot, the FBI never discovered any such evidence on Saturday’s devices.
His photographs on his driver’s license and visible social media accounts, along with data gleaned from his cell phone through a search warrant, served as additional proof of his identification, according to the criminal documents.
Saturday’s court docket as of the time of publication does not yet show him to be represented by an attorney.
Local NBC news station LEX18 reported that Saturday has run for public office before.
“Saturday was a candidate for Lexington City Council District 4 in 2018 and 2022,” according to the outlet.
According to his arrest warrant and a release from the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Columbia, 43-year-old Barry Saturday is charged with the following:
- Civil Disorder
- Knowingly Entering and Remaining in a Restricted Building or Grounds
- Disorderly and Disruptive Conduct in a Restricted Building or Grounds
- Disorderly Conduct in a Capitol Building
This case is being prosecuted by the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Columbia and the Department of Justice National Security Division’s Counterterrorism Section.
The Democrat-run DOJ continues to go after political opponents instead of taking on the crime wave sweeping the country.
In Trump’s latest indictment this week, it is alleged that he had 6 “co-conspirators” who helped him “attempt” to overturn the 2020 election.
The left-leaning Washington Post broke down the identities of the 5 co-conspirators by examining the details of each co-conspirator listed in the indictment, but who were not actually named.
According to The Post the 5 are Rudy Giuliani, John Eastman, Sidney Powell, Jeff Clark, and Kenneth Chesebro.
The indictment itself states that:
8. The Defendant [Trump] enlisted co-conspirators to assist him in his criminal efforts to overturn the legitimate results of the 2020 presidential election and retain power. Among these were:
a. Co-Conspirator 1, an attorney who was willing to spread knowingly false claims and pursue strategies that the Defendant’s 2020 re-election campaign attorneys would not.
b. Co-Conspirator 2, an attorney who devised and attempted to implement a strategy to leverage the Vice President’s ceremonial role overseeing the certification proceeding to obstruct the certification of the presidential election.
c. Co-Conspirator 3, an attorney whose unfounded claims of election fraud the Defendant privately acknowledged to others sounded “crazy.” Nonetheless, the Defendant embraced and publicly amplified Co-Conspirator 3’s disinformation.
d. Co-Conspirator 4, a Justice Department official who worked on civil matters and who, with the Defendant, attempted to use the Justice Department to open sham election crime investigations and influence state legislatures with knowingly false claims of election fraud.
e. Co-Conspirator 5, an attorney who assisted in devising and attempting to implement a plan to submit fraudulent slates of presidential electors to obstruct the certification proceeding.
f. Co-Conspirator 6, a political consultant who helped implement a plan to submit fraudulent slates of presidential electors to obstruct the certification proceeding.
Former President Trump responded to the indictment early Wednesday morning with a blistering post on Truth Social:
“THANK YOU TO EVERYONE!!! I HAVE NEVER HAD SO MUCH SUPPORT ON ANYTHING BEFORE. THIS UNPRECEDENTED INDICTMENT OF A FORMER (HIGHLY SUCCESSFUL!) PRESIDENT, & THE LEADING CANDIDATE, BY FAR, IN BOTH THE REPUBLICAN PARTY AND THE 2024 GENERAL ELECTION, HAS AWOKEN THE WORLD TO THE CORRUPTION, SCANDAL, & FAILURE THAT HAS TAKEN PLACE IN THE UNITED STATES FOR THE PAST THREE YEARS. AMERICA IS A NATION IN DECLINE, BUT WE WILL MAKE IT GREAT AGAIN, GREATER THAN EVER BEFORE. I LOVE YOU ALL!!!” Trump declared.
