Despite having announced that he will be running again for president in 2024, Joe Biden does not appear to be in physical or mental shape to do so. It seems every day there is evidence that the current president is not up to the job in any way.
The nickname “Sleepy Joe” has been bantered around as Biden often seems to be falling asleep at inappropriate moments, or mentally unaware of his surroundings. Now it seems Biden is showing he can fall asleep almost anywhere.
On Tuesday, yet another instance of Biden’s feeble state was revealed as he was covered by the press meeting with Israeli President Isaac Herzog. Biden spoke in mumbled tones, slumping in his chair as he attempted to deliver remarks on America’s partnership with Israel. Rather than talk to the camera or his fellow president, Biden kept his head down while reading talking points verbatim off a memo he had handily available.
Certainly not the image a United States president would care to project. Biden was seated beside Herzog, whose alert demeanor juxtaposed Biden’s lifeless energy, making him appear even more feeble to America and the world.
The meeting was already controversial, Biden having waited months before contacting the new Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Herzog is seen as a conduit to relay messages back to Netanyahu, The Hill reports.
Netanyahu is conservative and proactive against Palestinian threats.
Progressive Democrats are critical of Israel’s policies under the new prime minister, and centrist Democrats support a strong relationship between the countries but want Biden to “exercise a stronger hand in raising American concerns about Netanyahu’s government,” the Hill noted.
Unfortunately, Biden did not exhibit a strong presence to the Israeli president or to the world in the meeting.
“President Joe Biden seemingly fell asleep today while sputtering gibberish during a high-level meeting with the President of Israel, Isaac Herzog,” Matzov reported.
“The Israelis and the Palestinians…uh…on a political level…They uh, and…uh…They uh…And, I …Agwai endhole and whole shegwam…And uh…” said Biden.
The incident was immediately called out online as more evidence of Biden’s deteriorating mental and physical states, proving he’s unfit to run a country, let alone receive 81 million votes, Infowars noted.

The GOP is behind Netanyahu and his initiatives and is not happy with Biden snubbing the prime minister by waiting months to contact him. On Monday, Biden issued an invitation to Netanyahu to visit the U.S. in a phone call, but the belated effort, the day before meeting with Herzog, has Republicans fuming.
“What this Biden administration has done, I think has been disgraceful, the way they treat a strong ally like Prime Minister Netanyahu has been disgraceful,” Florida Governor Ron DeSantis stated in remarks at a conference on Monday.
The Israeli president was forthright in the meeting with President Biden, saying that Ireael’s democracy remains “sound, strong,” and “resilient” while acknowledging that his country is going through a time of transition.
“We are going through pains. We are going through heated debates,” Herzog stated. “We have gone through challenging moments But I truly, truly believe and I say to you Mr. President, as I’ve said it as head of state to the people of Israel, we should always seek to find amicable consensus, and I agree with you on that as well.”
Although Netanyahu is on the political right, and Biden has not yet met with him, Herzog claimed that the meeting with Biden was a “wonderful meeting” and that “many issues” were discussed, including the “Iranian nuclear threat”.
“Naturally we also discussed the internal issues in Israel,” Herzog said. “We should see the current debate in Israel with all its facets as a tribute to the strength of the Israeli democracy.”
In contrast to Biden, former President Donald Trump posted in the past about Israel, “No president has done more for Israel than I have” and held as one of his accomplishments the Jerusalem Embassy Act, “urging the federal government to relocate the American Embassy to Jerusalem and to recognize that that city – and so importantly – is Israel’s capital.”
The act passed Congress by an overwhelming bipartisan majority and was reaffirmed by a unanimous vote of the Senate later.
In his statement about the change, Trump specified the intention of the act:
“This decision is not intended, in any way, to reflect a departure from our strong commitment to facilitate a lasting peace agreement. We want an agreement that is a great deal for the Israelis and a great deal for the Palestinians. We are not taking a position of any final status issues, including the specific boundaries of the Israeli sovereignty in Jerusalem, or the resolution of contested borders. Those questions are up to the parties involved.”
