Arizona Voters Approve Law To Handout In-State Tuition To Illegal Aliens

The fact that massive amounts of illegal aliens have been streaming across the southern border of the United States and spreading out through America has had repercussions not only in regard to drugs and crime, but those who are aware that laws be changed to treat illegals as citizens, as those who were born here or who have undertaken the proper actions to become naturalized citizens, is having a serious effect on local, state, and national politics and finances.

One measure that is being taken by liberal states in regard to giving aid to illegals is the question of college tuition. According to a report by John Binder of Breitbart News, 22 states and Washington, DC allow in-state tuition is provided to illegal alien invaders. Binder highlighted how California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Illinois, Kansas, Maryland, Minnesota, Nebraska, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Oregon, Texas, Utah, Virginia, and Washington are some of the states that already provide in-state tuition to illegal aliens.

Amazing as this seems, even more, amazing is having a solidly red state pass such legislation.

Arizona voters recently pulled the lever for a proposition that will grant in-state tuition to illegal aliens, which effectively overturned a prohibition of the practices that was first established in 2006.

Breitbart News reported that the Republican-controlled Arizona state legislature passed in 2021 a plan to put Proposition 308 on the November 8, 2022 ballot in which voters decided to scrap the state’s ban on in-state tuition for illegal alien invaders.

Arizona voters approved Prop 308 by a margin of 51% to 49%. In October, several Arizona Republicans such as former gubernatorial candidate Karrin Taylor Robson and Arizona House Speaker Rusty Bowers, both signed a letter calling on GOP Arizona voters to approve Proposition 308. The letter read as follows:

Prop 308 is the smart thing to do and it is also the right thing to do. Dreamers are Arizona kids, and they deserve the same opportunities as other Arizona students. This is their home. Let’s make sure our college-bound Dreamers, who meet the same requirements as their classmates, pay the same in-state tuition rate. It’s only fair.

Forbes reported that support for Proposition 308 was outpacing votes against it by a margin of 51.3% to 49.7%, about a 60,000 vote difference. the measure would insure in-state tuition for illegals as well as make them eligible for state financial aid at the public universities and community colleges in Arizona.

This would obviously encourage illegals crossing the southern border to stay in Arizona and take advantage of the law instead of moving to other states that do not offer such aid.

Some Republicans support the flow of new immigrants because they provide a source of inexpensive labor, but the push to make college entrance easier comes from the left.

In addition to Arizona Republicans who belong to the party’s cheap labor wing, there was big donor money flowing in to get this proposition approved. This included TheDream.US, of which Bill Gates, the Ford Foundation, anti-gun oligarch Michael Bloomberg, and Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg, Breitbart reports.

George Soros’ Open Society Foundation supports and gives financial aid to just such measures as this college tuition legislation.

In Open Borders, Inc., a book by Michelle Malkin, she describes the effort by George Soros and his followers are eroding constitutional principles. Soros has openly stated that he wants to dissolve sovereignty and empower the masses (communism).

The fact that such legislation could be passed in such a red state as Arizona shows how far and deep the reach of such liberal activism goes.

Breitbart notes that Right-wing organizations cannot exclusively focus on federal politics. Some of the most important political battles of our time are going down at the state and local levels.

Some are not taking this shift in Arizona from solid red to blue lying down.

Even now in Arizona, the expected outcome of the race for governor took a turn at the last minute that is questionable enough for Republican challenger Kari Lake to be opposing the results and conservatives in Arizona leadership looking into the faulty machines, the chaos of ballot printing, and the fact that the votes were not counted in anything like a timely manner.

Given that the declared winner Democrat Katie Hobbs had less than a percentage point more votes than Lake in the befuddled election, AP reported on Thursday that Lake has refused to concede and is assembling lawyers and collecting evidence of voters having trouble casting ballots on Election Day.

“Rest assured that I have assembled the best and brightest legal team, and we are exploring every avenue to correct the many wrongs that have been done this past week,” Lake said. “I’m doing everything in my power to right these wrongs.”

Former President Donald Trump, who endorsed Lake, posted this week, “our Border is for sale to the highest bidder, OPEN, and a disgrace to humanity. In the meantime, our Country is failing at a level never seen before!”
