After seeing the pride flag given such prominent placement at the Biden White House’s pride month ceremony on Saturday, many Americans were outraged.
At a “Pride Month 2023” celebration held on the White House lawn on Saturday, Vice President Biden hailed the LGBT community as “the bravest and most inspiring people” and a “example” for the United States and the world.
“Happy Pride Month!” Biden told the crowd. “Happy Pride Year! Happy Pride Life!”
“You’re some of the bravest and most inspiring people I’ve ever known. And I’ve known a lot of good folks,” Biden said. “You set an example for the nation — and quite frankly for the world.”
The White House lawn and the structure itself were both draped in rainbow flags as part of the celebration.
Tom Fitton, the founder of Judicial Watch, noted that the display is against the U.S. Flag Code. “To advance revolutionary transgender agenda targeting children, Biden violates basic tenet of US Flag Code and disrespects every American service member buried under its colors,” Fitton said.

In accordance with the Flag Code, the American flag must always be flown “at the center and highest point of the group when a number of flags of States or localities or pennants of societies are grouped and displayed from staffs.”

The Biden Administration has frequently generated controversy over incessant display of Pride flags both in the U.S. and overseas. In 2021, Biden granted “blanket authorization” to fly the flag at embassies across the world. This extends to Islamic countries and even the embassy to the Holy See in Rome.
Trump Secretary of State Mike Pompeo had previously barred embassies and consulates from flying the flag.
The flag faux pas wasn’t the only disrespectful disaster at the White House Pride event this weekend.
Saturday’s “Pride Month 2023” event hosted performers and speakers representing LGBT causes, acclaimed the Pride community as “the bravest and most inspiring people” and an “example” for the US and the entire world.
After telling the crowd of attendees that they’re “some of the bravest and most inspiring people I’ve ever known,’ and that they “set an example for the nation — and quite frankly for the world,” he doubled down on his remarks by saying that he sees “more courage on this lawn than any time I’ve seen in the recent past.”

“You know, we all move forward when we move together with your joy, with your pride lighting the way,” the president continued. “So today, let us proudly remember who we are — the United States of America.”
No one has likely forgotten that this was officially the “United States of America.” Possibly with the exception of the president himself.
While referring to the LGBTQ community, Biden described the LGBTQ community as “Transjesters.”

As soon as he realized his error, he changed his statement to read, “Transgender Americans serving in the United States military.”
Ironically, the Commander-in-Chief praised gay and transgender persons as “some of the bravest and most inspiring people I’ve ever known,” as opposed to the soldiers who risked their lives to defend this nation and even died doing so.
Members of the LGBTQ community have the same rights as every other American citizen in the United States. Even while equal protection provides that a citizen cannot obtain additional privileges that other people lack due to gender identity or sexual preferences, international rankings reveal that the U.S. is one of the finest countries in the world for LGBTQ rights.

Jill Biden, the first lady of the White House, also spoke at the Pride gathering.
“Outside the gates of this house are those who want to drag our country backwards, and so many battles yet to be braved. But today, we’re not here to be strong. We’re not here to be courageous. Even though for so many of you, just coming to this event is an act of bravery,” said First Lady Jill Biden.
“Every day that you’re alive and someone loves you is a miracle,” Jill Biden said, quoting feminist author Rita Brown. She added, “And when you leave here to go back to the place that needs so much change, take that miracle with you.”
The real miracle would be if the White House could go a single day without making a pandering speech in which they played the victim. The Democratic Party is constantly trying to make minorities in America feel like they are being persecuted victims rather than like other citizens who have equal rights and live in a free society.
