Former President Trump abruptly canceled his much-touted January 6th press conference which was designed to counter Democrat propaganda efforts on the one-year anniversary of the protest that saw a few unruly characters ruin the day for millions of peaceful protesters.

The event was mysteriously cancelled after he sent out a statement to reporters Tuesday that he would be talking about “those topics” at his rally in Arizona on January 15 instead.

‘In light of the total bias and dishonesty of the January 6th Unselect Committee of Democrats, two failed Republicans, and the Fake News Media, I am canceling the January 6th Press Conference at Mar-a-Lago on Thursday, and instead will discuss many of those important topics at my rally on Saturday, January 15th, in Arizona,’ he stated, the former president added that, ‘It will be a big crowd!’

As the one-year anniversary of the Capitol Building riot approaches, Trump was planning on facing reporters at his resort in Palm Beach on the anniversary. Meanwhile, in Washington, Joe Biden and Democrat congressional leaders are expected to hold a memorial of the day in order to distract from their disastrous socialist policies which have led to massive inflation and skyrocketing prices.

There was a report that some of President Trump’s allies were wondering whether holding a press conference on the anniversary was a good idea. Among those questioning the plan were Sen. Lindsey Graham and Fox News Channel host Laura Ingraham.

The report added that after playing golf with Trump over the weekend, Graham said that the two discussed the upcoming press conference.

As the former president brought up the subject of the press conference, Graham told him, ‘there could be peril in doing a news conference. … Best to focus on election reform instead.’

The report also noted that GOP leaders in Congress thought the press conference would spell trouble for everyone as the midterms approach.

A leading question Ingraham asked GOP Rep. Jim Banks, a Trump ally, was, is it ‘smart for President Trump to do a rally on a particular day, versus next week or the week before?’

Banks stated that the press conference was something he eagerly looked forward to.

On Tuesday Trump said that he canceled the event as it has ‘become more and more obvious to ALL’ that the ‘LameStream Media will not report the facts.’

Afterward, he said the Capitol Sergeant-at-Arms and Speaker Pelosi declined to allow the military and D.C. National Guard to be present on that day.

Drew Hammill, the spokeswoman for Pelosi, told reporters last month that her office was not consulted or contacted about any National Guard requests prior to January 6, when lawmakers gathered to certify Biden’s election.

Hammill explained that Pelosi does not have the authority to reject such a request.

‘This is the Democrats’ Great Cover-Up Committee and the Media is complicit,’ Trump charged.

Representative Adam Schiff, the chair of the House Intelligence Committee and one of the Democratic members on the J6 committee was also accused by Trump of changing a statement made by Republican Rep. Jim Jordan.

In a previous report, the committee said a period was accidentally added to a graphic of a text message sent by Jordan.

‘Why will Crazy Nancy Pelosi not provide her communications with the House Sergeant-at-Arms and the House Chief Administrative Officer, or promise to retain these vital messages, which many feel she has already destroyed—perhaps illegally?’ Trump queried.

‘Also, why is the primary reason for the people coming to Washington D.C., which is the fraud of the 2020 Presidential Election, not the primary topic of the Unselect Committee’s investigation? This was, indeed, the Crime of the Century.’

‘I look forward to seeing our Great American patriots in Arizona next weekend for a big rally to Save America!’ Trump concluded.

Florence, a small town outside of Phoenix, will host the rally on January 15, which coincides with MLK’s birthday.

A rally by MLK’s family members will take place in Phoenix on January 15 to support federal funding legislation for voting rights which are part of a Democrat power grab.

While Biden and socialist Democrats seek to take advantage of the anniversary of the January 6th protest which they wrongfully impeached then-President Trump over, Biden and Democrats have some things to worry about. Republicans are expected to retake the House of Representatives in the upcoming midterms, and they are vowing to impeach Biden as payback for their treatment of Trump.

Constituents of House Republicans will expect Joe Biden to be impeached by them if they take back control in the midterm elections as is widely expected. That’s according to Senator Ted Cruz who stated as much in his most recent podcast.

Cruz said that Democrats “weaponized” impeachment during the presidency of Donald Trump, on his show, Verdict With Ted Cruz. Democrats impeached Trump twice in the lower house on bogus charges.

Last year Trump spoke at CPAC and described being impeached twice and compared it to former Attorney General William Barr’s impeachment. He spoke of how it changed Barr, but it didn’t change him. The former president said he became “worse.”

“He became a different man when the Democrats viciously stated that they wanted to impeach him. They went wild. We want to impeach him. We’re gonna impeach Bill Barr. We’re gonna impeach him. He became different. I understand that. I didn’t become different. I got impeached twice. I became worse,” Trump said. The crowd cheered. “I became worse,” Trump repeated for effect.

Cruz was asked whether House Republicans will do the same to Biden. He responded, ‘I do think there’s a chance of that. Whether it’s justified or not, Democrats weaponized impeachment.’

‘They used it for partisan purposes to go after Trump because they disagreed with him,’ Cruz added.

Cruz said that there are ‘multiple grounds’ on which Biden could be impeached. Specifically, he highlights the southern border crisis and record numbers of migrants crossing into the United States, stressing US immigration infrastructure.

‘The most compelling [reason] is the utter lawlessness of President Biden’s refusal to enforce the border, his decision to just defy federal immigration laws,’ Cruz said.

Rolling back Trump-era border restrictions constitutes dereliction of duty under Article II of the Constitution, which places the enforcement of federal laws in the hands of the commander-in-chief, the senator said.

Lawmakers on the right have proposed impeaching the president’s son Hunter Biden based on his murky foreign dealings.

Cruz went on, ‘The more you weaponize it and turn it into a partisan cudgel — you know, what’s good for the goose is good for the gander — I’ve said it at the time, when we have a Democratic president and a Republican house, you can expect an impeachment proceeding.’

‘That’s not how impeachment is meant to work but I think the Democrats crossed that line. I think there’ll be enormous pressure on a Republican House to begin impeachment proceedings.’
